After more than 12 years of Al-Zaytun establishment and manage it with great sincerity and patience, the Grand Chancellor and all the board of members was determined to do expansion of their contribution / services to all available Province and Districts in Indonesia, by establishing community organizations or Non Governmental Organization, which is named The Society of Indonesian Development with initial MIM (Masyarakat Indonesia Membangun) where the organization was established in accordance with valid laws in Indonesia namely Law N0. 8 in 1985.

So MIM ( The Society for Indonesian Development) is a mass organization which does not contradict the above-mentioned Act, as set forth in Chapter I, Article I N0.8 Law Act 1985, which it said was:
“In this Act referred to Community Organizations is an organization formed by community members voluntarily of the Republic of Indonesia on the basis of similarity of activity, profession, function, religion, and belief in God the Almighty, to participate in development in order to achieve the objectives national within the Unitary State of Republic of Indonesia based on Pancasila. (N0.8 Act of 1985 Chapter I Article 1):.

To meet the requirements of legality, then Chairman of MIM has registered this organization to the Ministry of Home Affairs and had a Certificate of Registration (SKT) for the Headquarter, and all branches of MIM in Indonesia abide by the rules.
